Oceanside, CA: Retreatants on an MI Women's retreat hosted by the Fr. Kolbe Missionaries, pray the Rosary on the grounds of the Abbey Retreat House.

Oceanside, CA

The Fr. Kolbe Missionaries hosted their Annual Women's Retreat April 15-17, 2005 at the Prince of Peace Abbey Retreat House. With the theme "Mary, Woman of the Eucharist," the retreat was led by Retreat Master, Fr. Robert Bishop, cmf. Twenty women attended and four made their total consecration to the Immaculata. Hail Mary!

One women retreatant wrote, "My reflections-Mary and the Eucharist. How I have neglected the Lord in the Eucharist. He is so accessible, so close in proximity to home and how little I take advantage of the opportunity offered me to visit with Him who is all deserving of my praise and worship!

I call myself a "good" Catholic and yet I judge so many who do not even comprehend the divine mystery hidden in the Blessed Sacrament! But I know and yet I fail to partake in this heavenly gift as often as I can and am able. Please forgive me Lord. I am so sorry.

How often I am so easily irritated when attention is not given to me when I expect it from my children particularly and yet I ignore so much more myself in not making conscious attempts to visit Our Precious Lord in the Tabernacle. This great Sacrament of love and healing waits so mercifully for me. He is so patientwhile I am so impatient. He is so full of lovewhile I lack charity so often. He is so full of mercywhile I am so quick to judge unjustly. He is so quick to forgive yet it is my pride that gets in my way.

Forgive me Lord and help me to be a better wife, mother and daughter, to visit you more of-ten in the Blessed Sacrament and to practice true humility while dying to myself. O Immaculata, pray for me. Holy Father, pray for me. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on my soul."

MIUSpring 05: Fr. Terry Cramer, a candidate of the Conventual Franciscans of the St. Bonaventure Province, speaks about The Beatitudes-A Ladder to Heaven. "It was a wonderful conference. Thank you for your hospitality. We are just beginning...but will try to make the MI a strong organization in this city!!" says Kansas City, KS attendee.

Mark your calendars! Come to the next MI Conference, April 28-30, 2006. Go to www.Consecration.com/MIC.html

This past March 6, the Confirmation Class of forty-five students from Holy Family Parish, made their retreat at Marytown where they also made their total consecration to Mary in the MI!

May 13th Public Consecration
Twenty people made their consecration to Mary on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima at Marytown. The presider for the service was Deacon Robert Zwilling from St. Mary's Seminary at Mundelein, IL. This coincides with the patronal feast of Marytown, Our Lady of Fatima Friary.

MIU: Spring 05
"It was a spiritually moving experience that I will treasure always... I benefited greatly from the spiritual talks as they helped me reflect more seriously on the Eucharist, Eucharistic Adoration, Our Lady and St. Maximilian Kolbe," wrote an MIU attendee from Chesterton, IN. Over 75 people came from all areas of the country to participate in MIU this past April.

Topics were on the Mysteries of the Rosary, Consecration, the New Testament, the writings of St. Maximilian and much more. Saturday night the participants were invited to the premier of a new movie entitled, St. Maximilian Kolbe and the Militia of the Immaculata (part of "Marytown and Its' Founder DVD").

Denver, CO: MI member, Father Jim, blessing a new Grotto, is planning on entering the Conventual Franciscans July 2005.

Denver, CO
Fr. Jim Goggins, an MI member and pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, had their Prayer Garden and Grotto of the Immaculata dedicated August 14, 2004, the feast of St. Maximilian. Father Jim said, "And then we processed into our church for the Vigil Mass of the Assumption. It was beautiful...It is an oasis of prayer!" At the event, the eighth grade girls from the school consecrated themselves to Our Lady.

Across the Globe
The MI National Center, this past May 13, received its first MI consecration enrollment by email from Hong Kong, China! Saint Kolbe must be very pleased. Tell your friends about www.Consecration.com.

May 13th Public Consecration: On the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, in Marytown's Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, twenty people consecrated themselves to Our Lady.
